@TheGameCrafter it seems likely that this issue is occurring because the account you’re loggedin with to the editor doesn’t have access to the projects in the Creator Portal (which URC inherits access rules from). This would be for one of two likely reasons:
your access to projects from a team/teams was removed
you have multiple Epic accounts and are logged into the editor with a different one than you have access than the one through which you created/have access to the projects
In either of these cases you’d still be able to open the project copy you’d have previously synced locally (as it sounds like you can), but you would not be able to connect to URC because your account does not have access to the cloud source of truth to send/receive updates.
Questions for you:
When you log into create.fortnite.com do you see the projects there as expected?
If so, can you log out of the editor (Project dropdown → “Logout [username]” and then log back in with the same account you’ve logged into the creator portal with
If not, you may have been removed from the team (if applicable) that owns the projects in the creator portal, and should contact the team admin to get re-added
I had same problem after update 29.00 check for this, make sure your unreal editor For Fortnite is not running under an administrator. Fortnite has some Documentation depending on your system how to remove it. If you had administrator once you remove it Ransomware protection tends to activate, see block history, see what folder are being block this can block revision control double check Ransomware before load in after exiting UEFN. Make sure SSD and NVidia driver is update after all that restart your computer, Hope this help.
Thank you for the response.
We have solved the issue by duplicating the project into a new project!
We think because we deactivated the original creator account that made our projects–this caused the error to occur. Even though the owner and admins on the projects were all validated.
