It’s been a while since I updated the Youtube Unreal Channels database, but I did a new pass, and hopefully it might be useful to some of you who are looking to learn through Youtube videos.
I thought I could use AI to scrap Youtube and find the channels I may still have missed, but it came back to me and told me that the best source on the net for this information was my database, and even gave me a link to it.
So I still have to do this manually
What I did also is add a “6” rating, that for me represents the MVPs of Unreal Learning on Youtube. I personally believe that these channels are the few ones that you should look into as they usually combine quality of teaching, update rate, or if they are not updated anymore, still extremely useful as such.
Channels rated “0” are simply channels that I have found, but haven’t had the time to check out just yet.
Enjoy, and please let me know if you disagree with ratings, or if I missed channels
Can you help please? I simple can not understand the narrators in the tutorials. Do you have any in english with english accent or with accents that are not as strong. I have to stop like every 5 words to understand. I can not understand all that work and then make them unusable for a large portion of the population. Unles thats the point.
Thanks for updating the database! It’s great to see such a valuable resource for Unreal Engine learning on YouTube. I really appreciate the addition of the ‘6’ rating for MVP channels that makes it easier to find the top tier content. I also love the idea of using AI for scraping, but manual curation definitely has its perks. If you ever update it again, maybe consider including channels that focus on specific niche areas like VR or blueprint scripting. Keep up the awesome work!
Most if not all of these channels are in english, so it’s hard if you don’t understand the language. But if you enable captions in Youtube settings, you should be able to read what they say
