I’d like to upgrade my laptop to be able to work easier/quicker on small-medium sized, mostly interior scenes. I’m also interested in utilizing ray traced lighting within UE4.
Currently what I have is a 17" HP Pavillion
8 Gb’s ram
Geforce 940M
Intel i7-5500U @ 2.39GHz dual core.
I was looking at two different models of the HP Omen and what I was hoping to hear from you is what you think? Considering what I want to use it for, and that alone, would there be much of a difference between the two? Would the differences be noticeable at all within the UE4 editor? There are lots of reviews out there but they all focus on video games, it’s very difficult to find anything that applies to me.

The prices on these two vary quite a bit but performance spec wise, they seem very similar. Would a Max-Q RTX 2070 really be that much of a downgrade over a full 2070? Would the 15" hinder me at all in ways that the 17" wouldn’t? Do you know of anything within a similar price range that would be better than the above options?
