Hello!
Where I am supposed to see the “35mm” equivalent?
I’ve just had a quick look and realised that the Canon 5DSR is not inside the sensor.xml file (I didn’t really understand how to add the sensor information into the .xml file) Where can I look for the sensor width as precise as RC needs?

Best,
Manuel.

We are sorry for the delay of the documentation update, just some final touches…
To see a “35mm equivalent” click on an image (only one) in the 1Ds and find Focal length (35mm) in Prior calibration part. You can also click on an image in the 2Ds view and see “focal” in the image info panel.
Prior is set to “Unkown” in “Prior calibration” is this an issue?

Search the Internet for the camera chip size. Camera vendors make this information available.

It should not be a problem, it is even recommended to have it set this way, when you want to add a new camera information into the database.
so for the Canon 5DSR it would be:
<camera model=“Canon Canon EOS 5DSR” ccdWidth=“36.0000” />
right?
The sensor width specified in dpreview is: 36mm
Hi Manuel
we add the “problematic” sensors in the database mostly. So you do not need to add it, except when you observe some real issues with alignment…
Do you observe any issues with the Canon 5DsR ?
I am trying to align something really big and its not aligning correctly, even with your settings. I am almost sure there is enough overlap. It is the first time I used a zoom lens (of very high quality though) newest Canon 100-400mm on our Canon 5DsR.
I’ve just added the sensor to the list and the yellow triangle is gone.
