YAW VR plugin

Hi there,
I want to make my own game in Unreal engine with YAW VR support. I found SDK on yawvr download page, and it works, but it is whole project and I don’t know how to use it in my game. Does anyone have any experience with it, and is able to help me to deal with it? (I’m rather beginner in unreal engine)

To get the chair running, I recommend taking a closer look at the YAWController BluePrints, where you can see how the inputs are passed to the chair.

For those who want to develop in Unreal Engine for the YAW VR Chair, I have successfully upgraded the demo project from Unreal Engine 4.25 to Unreal Engine 5.4.3. Although the demo car with the vehicle in front is missing, I believe you will be able to work better with the controls and save hours of converting: YawVR_UE4 5.4 - 4.zip - Google Drive

Alternatively, I recommend checking out this link and the accompanying documentation, which will help you gain a better understanding of the signals.

hey there @tobiasriedi, how did you manage to update the plugin to the 5.4?

Last year i was able to pull it into 5.1 but due to not having a YAW, i shelved the project.
My yaw is arriving in a few days and when i got back to playing with project and emulator, iv had no end of issues.

Do you have a tutorial or a process you used to update the plugin that your able to share?
