Designed as a robust alternative to Unreal’s default "Simple Wind" node, this system eliminates unnatural leaf distortion and offers a physically accurate wind simulation. It comes with a set of Opaque Nanite Grass Meshes for maximum performance. The system is also designed to be easily incorporated into any of your existing meshes.
Dynamic Gust System: Mimics natural, rolling gusts of wind rather than static noise, creating waves of motion across fields.
Ambient Jiggle: Simulates the constant, subtle micro-movements of vegetation, keeping the scene alive even in low-wind conditions.
Root-Based Rotation: Utilizes Pivot Painter textures to create rotational displacement around the stem root of each grass blade. This ensures realistic bending and completely avoids the warping effect common in many displacement shaders.
Refined Displacement: Employs an improved displacement method as a high-quality fallback for meshes where rotation is not applicable.
