Responsibilities

YAGER is looking for a UX Designer (f/m)

You know that you don’t get there through a flash of brilliance – it comes from a deep understanding of people and how they browse, interact and play. What you will do

  • Within the game team you’ll take the lead in designing the user experience for the meta game and the connection to the core game
  • In cooperation with other designers, you will define different player types and create appropriate user paths for them
  • With the creation of interactive flowcharts you will quickly prototype these paths and validate your decisions
  • Within the flowcharts, you will be responsible for the creation of wireframes
  • You’ll work with user researchers and the team to test your designs and flows to iterate on them and validate them

What you need to bring

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in an interaction design or user experience design role
  • Creativity to deliver effective user interface solutions for complex software within the constraints of a strong brand

Dreadnaught was started before UMG was a thing and people were integrating their own UI solutions, such as CEF3 based ones like CoherentUI and flash/action script based ones like Scaleform.

YAGER is looking for a Build Engineer (f/m)

A build engineer at YAGER sits at the border of tools programming, IT and the development teams.

Our core job is maintaining and extending the build coverage to make sure we have shippable builds conforming to first party needs. In addition we help set up and maintain automated tests for code and content. We have a big online component in our game and are building ways to handle deployment in different environments and enabling debugging there as well.

Together with IT we are continuously looking into ways to improve deployment of SDKs or other mandatory software using configuration management.

On the tools side we help setting up workflows for local developer work, both via automation/tooling and researching what is possible on the new consoles.
