I’ve been having an issue since I started using Fortnite Creative: XP is not working on my map. I watched a video on how to enable it using the reward device, but nothing works.
Do I need to change something directly in the island settings? I haven’t tested many devices yet because I’m making a simple Buildfight map, but I also have a problem with modifying a timed objective. It works before I start the game, but when I exit test mode, I can no interact with the timed objectives on my map.
I’ve already reinstalled the game and verified the game files.
If your map is not currently published you will not be able to receive Xp. When the device is activate unpublished, it should show a test message, did you see that?
I’ll add that there is a calibration period for XP once you publish your map. So you will see zero indication of XP triggers in a publish map until XP calibration happens. (A couple to several thousand plays)
But like 4venzor stated, you should be seeing xp trigger test messages in an unpublished map.
