XONA is an interactive audiovisual performance exploring the Retrowave universe. Manipulated in real time, images by Vincent Nihouarn and sound by Jean-François Leboeuf are reinterpreted at every performance. Revisiting science fiction, disco, synthpop aesthetics from the 80-90’s, the XONA experience lies at the crossroads of the video game , live music and animation movie.
The visuals are rendered in real time, fully interactive and react to the musical performance. Beware: lasers, alien attacks, space travels, android amazons… And ponies!
