XGEN hair to UE4

My XGEN hair is coming in flipped in the X direction. When I set it to negative x on import it will not render correctly and if I set it to Negative X in the groom after import it won’t follow the mesh.

I am having the same issue. Im curious to see if anyone knows how to solve this. One work around I got was by changing the scale to -1 on the Y upon import, and then again once in the scene. But I would like to know how to import it correctly
