XCODE debugging, compiling, etc.


Currently, I’m able to compile the code that opens in XCODE by clicking compile in the Unreal Engine Editor.

I was searching and I found an old post from 2015.

I’m using Unreal Engine 4.25, XCODE Version 11.3 (11C29) , MAC OS 10.14.6

I may be wrong but it appears that XCODE is being used as an editor only. Product=>Build is grayed out.

However, I don’t get those options. I’m sure is me that I’m doing something wrong.

Are you building the Engine from source or just trying to build a C++ project? See this guide for the steps I used…
