We are running into a problem where our game causes a GPU crash on startup, only on Xbox and only on release/submission builds. When the GPU is in validation mode it always reports a bad instruction, but the game only causes a crash inconsistently (roughly 1-2 per 10 startups) so it seems to be a timing/race condition issue. We upgraded the project to UE 5.4 recently so we are concerned that this crash may be due to a bug that we picked up with 5.4, but because it only crashes in release builds we are having a hard time collecting information on what’s happening.
Has anyone run into this or similar issues? We are currently in the submission process for the game and this is blocking release, so any help is largely appreciated!
