Hi everyone, FAB is now working; I have noticed that the search results are inaccurate and show you other results that have little to do with the term you searched for. For example, I put “Wine Bottles” and it gave me results for “Battles” instead of “bottles”; “Pine” instead of “wine”; and the product I wanted to locate, which was “wine bottles”, appeared after 50 inaccurate results.
Please comment if you have observed something similar.
I trust that Epic’s technicians are already noticing these problems.
Thanks

hi @Tika_3D_Studio , thank you for reporting these. We are aware search results are fuzzy atm, and we’re actively tracking issues to address them all at once. I have written your feedback down, if you have more examples of different nature to add or more feature requests around it, please post them in this thread as well. Thanks!
Nice, good to hear it’s working on a different browser! It might be worth clearing your cache and cookies on Firefox, that may have something to do with it. But if the issue still persists after, please let me know.
Same for me.
-I can’t even find my own asset even when I type in the full name.
-When I search for tower defense except for the first few results, the asset has nothing to do with tower defense example: stylized environment.
Since the word with ower are found i think the search is made by character and not by word.
For not full names it looks like a bit results at the top are OK(ish, somewhat relevant to search terms), then after about 20 they are completely random, then a bit of them are OKish and again random…
It’s a bit better today but it still is really bad. I think they made really rookie mistake and didn’t normalize by text length (among other things like not weighting titles more etc.). E.g., when you search ‘forgotten graveyards’ (title of one of my asset packs) you will get “Forgotten Graveyards” way low in the rankings. Above it is even ‘rusty pipes pack’ that has very short description (2 sentences) but has ‘forgotten’ word in the description.
This is super rookie mistake on Epic part (that’s like first lecture in ‘intro to search’ )… Esp. that they had functioning search on Marketplace, Sketchfab, Quixel and ArtStation.
same it used to be my main revenue but i think i should try to find some job cause i dont feel like the new shop will work. (i should have say yes to the game designer job in china)
I checked the search for my product “Wine Bottles” again today; more than 100 results appear that have nothing to do with the search term!; and only after so many erroneous results does the product “Wine Bottles” appear.
It should be noted that results appear that have nothing to do with the search term; for example, if you search for “Wine bottles”; results appear for “Battles”, “Bettles”, “Wind”, “Pine” and has “war”; which are totally inaccurate.
I have already reported the BUG yesterday; possibly FAB is already aware of it.
Hi,
same here. First i thought my product is not published correct.
Only when i narrow it down with the filter (price, format etc.) i can find my product.
Even when i put the complete name “OneLight - Blueprint Light System” it will not appear.
Although this is apparently being worked on, I still want to add my comment here to stress how important this issue is.
When searching some of my own products by name, they are literally impossible to find. Even if I filter by the exact category, they only appear very low on the page. Instead, products are pushed, that have literally nothing to do with what I typed.
So searching for a specific product is already hard, but searching for products in general, that you would assume have certain words in the title is almost impossible.
This has the potential to completely ruin any sales.
