Wrong posititoning of PCGBiome Runtime GPU Assets

Hey guys,

i was playing around a bit with the PCG Biomes in UE5.7, when i found some issues with my Runtime Assets not being position properly on the z Axis. They mostly follow my landscape but especially when the ground gets uneven they either are floating too high or too low, but almost never exactly hitting the ground.

I went back and forth between the BiomeSample and my map, but couldnt really find any differences.

The Debug output you can see in the screenshots is from the PointGeneratorRVT, but it happens the same way with the PointGeneratorLS when disabling RVT usage in the PCGBiomeCore_Runtime.

Does anyone know what i missed or did wrong?

In my desperation to find a solution, i just activated “Virtual Texture Render with Quad” on my Landscape and this seems to resolve the issue.

I have no idea what this is doing exactly and if it has any negative consequences i can not see yet.

Perhaps someone can give some insights if this is something reasonable to do or if this explains what happens without it and can give another, better solution.
