Check picture.
I have a custom blueprint that contains a Dome (Sphere).
It has children components (SceneComponents)
Each child (sceneComponent) has also an arrow as child see pic.
Then the radius of the sphere was shrunken. No matter what I do, save/compile/save all/restart.
The view of blueprint is correct but in editor it remains wrong.
Hi simmania,
Just to clarify, you are just selecting the sphere component and changing the Sphere Radius value in the Details panel, correct? And you aren’t seeing this change reflected in the editor viewport event after compiling?
It looks like you are using 4.7. But which Preview version?
I see the radius change reflected. However, because the previous radius was bigger, I have to move the SceneComponents (containing an arrow as child) down to match the top of the sphere again. This change is not reflected. As you can see the arrows remain in air. But because the sceneComponents (containing a child) are also a child of the sphere, i figure it might have to do with the sphere/radius of sphere.
I reverted my project back to 4.6.1 due to driver crashes with 4.7.p6/p7.This bug is not present in 4.6.1
I was using preview 7
Hi simmania,
If you were using Prevew 7 that makes sense. I believe this was fixed in Preview 8, which is why I couldn’t duplicate your issue.
If and when you do install 4.7.0, please feel free to test this again. If the issue is still present for you, just post back here to let us know.
Cheers,
TJ
