Would this be easier in c++ or blueprints?

I need to create a rectangular platform made out of small cubes. As the player walks over the cubes, they begin to fall so the player must keep running across the platform. On one end the platform is shrinking via the cubes falling away and on the other end it’s growing in new and randomly generated directions via more cubes being added on.

I’ve been putting off doing stuff in C++ due to Visual Studio forcing me to install it on the same tiny drive as my OS but looks like now I’ll finally have to upgrade.

You can do that with blueprints :slight_smile:
Just create actor blueprints with the cube and a “on touched event” which will set a new location for the mesh (use a timeline to get a smooth movement) + use a procedural spawning system
