Just in case it was due to nobody asking, I wrote a plea:
As Praydog’s UEVR currently only works up to v5.4, it would be great if it were compatible with newer versions of UE. Epic Games could gain indirect benefits in future engines, mainly through ecosystem growth and VR adoption.
VR Market Expansion
Thousands of UE games gain VR life via UEVR (e.g., 11,000+ titles), drawing gamers into headsets, including Steam Frame and boosting hardware sales tied to Epic’s store/engine.
Community Engagement
Mods showcase engine power, inspiring devs and increasing UE popularity - similar to how mod support aids longevity in other engines.
Feedback Loop
Modders test VR edge cases, providing free insights for official features like Nanite/Lumen in VR. Stable hooks wouldn’t require full endorsement, just minimal adaption.
