World Space to Component Space ?

I´m trying to bind a spline mesh object to the start and end of a line trace. Sa far I used a debug arrow wich worked well. But I would like have something more versatile in terms of materials and texturing. The object spline seems to be exactly what I´m looking for. But it never worked and I couldn´t figure out why until i noticed the tooltip of the start and end pos saying “start position in component space”. This is obviously why it doesn´t work right. I´m not the biggest math brain and I just started to refresh my vector math skills. Is there a simple to way to calculate convert a world space position to component space ? Any help is much appreciated.

Use invert world location node, plug Get Actor Transform into orange node and the location of the thing you want to convert into yellow.
