World Partition HLODs with movable objects, why is it not possible?

Creating HLODs is a real pain. I have quite a few objects that move (floating boats, doors, moving platforms), but I can’t generate HLODs because they are movable. So I have to switch everything to static, generate the HLODs, and switch back to movable. It’s just annoying! Why can’t I merge/simplify objects that can move? I don’t want the HLODs to move (just appear as displayed in the editor)!

Since the manipulation is really annoying, if anyone knows a way to force HLODs even with movable objects. THX.
