World Partition HLOD generation workflow

It’s surprising to see that the expected workflow is to run stuff from a command line. Why not include this in “Build All Levels” or “Build LODs”? If it must be separate for some reason, it should at least get its own menu entry in Build.

Probably will be something like that when it’s released in 2022

Even by following Epic’s documentation by the letter, I haven’t managed to get it work. Everything stays gray when I switch to the Hierarchical LOD coloration. Have any of you had more chance ?



I haven’t tried this yet but the docs for World Partition HLOD seem to have the wrong parameters for the commandlet, different than the ones mentioned in this video (screencap):
