World Partion Landscape Crash

I am using unreal engine 5.3.2… 32 thread cpu… solid state drive… dual rtx 3090s…

I create a brand new empty world partition level… I import a 8129x8129 height map… Generates the terrain… Add sky and fog copied from a default scene.

I then hit play (simulate mode)… to float through the environment… it works for like 30 seconds just flying arround really fast all over the terrain chunks… Eventually it just crashes. Very reproduceable. Makes landscape not able to be used at all unfortunately…

Any idea why I would be crashing? I’ve recreated the envrionment a few times now just to reproduce it… every time… it crashes like clock work.

Looks like 5.4 beta does not have this bug… so i guess its 5.3.2 bug specific.
