World Origin rebasing in Multiplayer?

So, I’ve been going through the Unreal Engine project settings, and ran into this: (pic attached. Had to show a pic, because it’s too beautiful to just retype)
I googled, it, and somebody said that they added it in version 4.14.
I went to the release notes of 4.14 and sure enough, it’s there.

Um… Is this what I think this is? Did they actually enable world rebasing for Multiplayer? If so, what’s the catch? Does it actually mean that we can now have infinitely large worlds with dedicated servers?

Can somebody please shed a bit of light on it.

Because if they did, I suppose my old saying “Epic. A company name very well deserved” holds true yet again.
