World composition + Skylight

Hi,

Skylights appear to be placed per tile as opposed to generically across board, not a major issue. But on a world composition tiled terrain Skylights don’t appear in actor menu (scene outliner), when you save and / or build skylight will disappear completely and de-activate.

( UE4 Version 4.3.0)

I’ve checked in 4.3 and 4.4 and have not been able to reproduce behavior you are describing. After upgrading to 4.4.2, do you still have this issue? If so, I have a few questions:

  1. Are you using a separate Skylight for each Layer in World Composition? Only one will function in world at a time.
  2. Skylight should appear in Scene Outliner when it is currently loaded. Does Skylight appear when level is loaded?
  3. When you say Skylight disappears, do you mean that it isn’t in level or that it isn’t functioning in level?

Thanks , silly mistake on my part Skylight should of been under persistent scene and it wasn’t.
