World Composition and very high density maps

I’m tinkering with a LIDAR data based open game, world is planned to be 50km by maybe 10km. I have data of 25cm resolution and have been splitting it into roughly 1x1km squares for World Comp, so far my largest level consisted of 40 something tiles imported and scaled down to .25 and it performs alright.
Has anyone tried a 50km map wit this kind of resolution? I want to use the full res of the data because of the realistic coastal cliffs it gives, but I’m wondering if I may be sacrificing too many draw calls that may be needed later?
