Can someone explain to me like I’m 5 years old how to work with friends or colleagues on a project in ue5? I’ve tried searching on both YouTube and Google, but nothing works, it’s too complicated, for ue4 or just explaining what it does, and not how to use it. Keep in mind, please explain like I’m 5.
Hey there @Kylo-Ren815! Welcome to the community! So you might have been looking into “Multi User Editing” which allows multiple users to work at the same time and see each other’s work. This is a complicated setup that, while fun, is less optimal than just using source control (A way to keep the project updated between multiple computers but you have to send the changes back and forth manually). The common option (especially for large teams) is to use some form of source control like Git/Github or Perforce.
Here’s a video that can explain Git/Github in the simplest way and how to integrate it to UE.
