I’m wondering what is the best workflow for artist that help preventing warnings and errors down the road on the build machine?
Obviously we try to do reviews before commiting to the repository, but still, team dont want to cook and build the game each time as its a significant amount of time lost if they do so. And sadly, it does happen that warnings and errors go thought event if it was reviewed and tested in editor.
What are the best practice? right now I try to track warnings and error on the build machine and send a message to the team to fix them… But it feels thoses should be catched before commiting to source control. Having a big team makes it harder to clean up the logs.
what do you guys think? how does it work on your side?
