Hey everyone, if you are experiencing crashes when opening Twinmotion 2024.1.1, here is a workaround:
Put aside the “TwinmotionContentLibrary” folder from C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\Twinmotion2024.1.
Our team is working on a permanent fix. In the meantime, please try this solution.
Please note that removing this folder will require you to download the asset data again after starting the Twinmotion editor.
This solution doesn’t work, Twinmotion 2024.1.1 is constantly crashing (Error code: Unhandled Exception: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION reading address 0x0000000000000374) and now it is giving LS-0013 Error…
Found the Solution!!
I had enabled administrator permissions for twinmotion exe, which was giving LS-0013 error.
and after that deleted the twinmotion content library folder…
Still if you can share an estimated timeline for the hotfix, it would help
Hi. This solution does not work for me. In my case, i have problems when i go to the media mode, in mode natigation (Go back) it not crashes but when i try to go to a photho that i previously configurate inmediately the workaround crashes. I hope this solves soon.
By the way, i have a question. How i can enable “Administrator permissions” i cant find the *.exe file. Thanks in advance
I don’t think administrator permissions would help but you can find Twinmotion exe here,
“C:\Program Files\Epic Games\Twinmotion2024.1\Twinmotion\Binaries\Win64\TwinmotionCookedEditor-Win64-Shipping”
If Epic games refuses to launch Twinmotion with some error code, try to revert back the admin permissions.
I have the same problem, after updating to the latest version 2024.1.1 every time I open a file that I was working on it stays open for about 5 minutes and then crashes and restarts the PC. I ask for help, because I have already updated to the latest RTX3080 driver and it only started crashing after the 2024.1.1 update.
Twinmotion 2024.1.1 hotfix is available, including two fixes:
Twinmotion 2024.1.1 crashes at launch after interrupting assets download.
Mac users failed to open certain files containing trees.
The hotfix is available on the Epic Games launcher, update today!
