I built a VR customer engagement experience, which was used at an event, and the experience does not cost anything to participate in and is used as an engagement piece on the exhibition stand only.
I performed this work for an advertising agency, who had contracted me on behalf of their client. As far as I am aware, due to this being a custom once off, it would fall under the work for hire terms and conditions? Subsequent to this event being completed, the client has asked my client if they can use this experience at the World Cup Soccer tournament.
They would use the experience at Soccer World Cup matches for the same purposes, i.e. as part of an exhibition/event, and would not be distributing to the public or charging anybody to take part in the experience.
I would like to find out if this would be allowed, or if there is anything in your terms and conditions that precludes this from happening, or if there are any terms or costs that you would need adhered to or paid in order for this to be possible?
Also, would I need to include the Epic Games/Unreal trademark info as part of the packaged product?
