If added the default Plywood 02 material to a beam and it seems that the wood orientation is not the same on all sides of the beam. What can be done about this?
I tested several materials and rotating it does what it should (but rotate it on all sides the same amount)

One Solution… If you can, change the bottom faces of your model (in sketchup etc) to a difefrent material then in TM select plywood and apply to sides, then the bottoms.
If that doesnt work, eyedrop the plywood material and in the materials editor click the … to the RHS of the image and select duplicate., rotate 90 degrees and apply to the bottom material. There is probably an easier way but im a newby…
