Given the size of FAB and the different types of assets it would be great if this feature allowed for multiple namable wishlists.
That way I can wishlist all my sounds in one list, all my characters in another, and enivroments in another.
Right now this is of limited use since I found a lot of character assets to share with my team and now any other asset type is hard to find on the wishlist page.
The wishlist was 200 items and it was still too little for a major project. Now it become 150 and I couldn’t even fit my previous list into it.
If you are wondering why I would want a big wish list:
I add assets to wish list, so I can review them with team on our bi-weekly meetings to decide which one to buy next or if it worth buying.
I also keep assets in wish list to purchase when I manage to allocate budget for it (my own indy work) and this only happens about once a month, if the allocated budget is not enough, it will remain there until next month.
I add assets to list to compare, sometimes there are 8~10 options available for the same tasks and I want to be able to compare them, wishlist makes it easy, they are all in front of you and you can use process of elimination by closing tabs and open them again if needed.
I also add items to wish list for next project, while I’m still purchasing items for my current project. e.g. current project is mobile stylized and next one is for PC in realistic theme.
Some asset developers place a really crazy price on their assets as a marketing strategy so people purchase their asset on discounts that sometimes only happens twice a year and to be honest, it works.
This way, I have about 120 assets in queue for current and next project and about 20~25 for review and 5~10 remains for budget allocation. which is not enough.
A wish list will only takes less than 128 bytes in database so it won’t be a burden on your system and I believe it can easily increase to 300 or even 500!
