It is very nice to know that Epic Games has a vision to develop Unreal Engine as open-source solutions for content, interactive experiences, and immersive virtual worlds besides gaming. As R&D engineers of simulations using C++ on Linux, we have some needs and hope that Epic will support our need one day. Other people are welcome to add your wish.
- Content Examples (sample projects to demonstrate UE features) on Linux, esp. more examples using C++ and HLSL.

Some examples to show porting details from well-know algorithms to UE, including design decisions and performance tuning. The recent feature of Niagara fluid using FLIP is a good potential example.

Better documents, more examples and/or textbooks for familiar UE’s software architecture and programming development.

Same level supports like Windows and Mac on Linux, e.g. Epic Games launcher, examples, Marketplaces, and tutorials.
