Hello, I’ve been working with UE4 for years and have now spent some time importing a lot of assets into UE5.2 to start a project. Unfortunately, I had to realize that my way of creating a scene is now completely impossible because there is no longer a real wireframe display in the editor’s viewport. Is there a way to fix this? As long as objects are completely covered, the wireframe setting is of no use to me.
Wireframe is still there. What’s the difference?
The difference is that in the wireframe I can only see the topmost object. Objects underneath are hidden or not displayed because the wires are only “painted on”.
I just found out that it works with the primitives in UE. However, I have a problem with my imported FBX objects.
I have now turned off “Enable Nanite Support” on all meshes. Then it works. Unfortunately, Nanite was the main reason I wanted to go to UE5. Thank you for your efforts and have a nice weekend.
