hope you like them

I love it. Is this going to be in a game or just a scene for testing? I think it represents a good Horror like feel.

Hi

This Scene is my first step with Unreal. For testing and so on. Finally this Scene goes into my Game.
And yes a Horror game … and no, no Zombies

That is . Large sewer Rats perhaps?

Looking good, I think its just a tad too dark. I would say more lights fake more GI in area’s where its pitch black.

Heroes in a halfshell?

I like it a lot, i think the darkness is spot on - really gives a horror vibe. Maybe lat the playable character have a torch (and then at the most inopportune time the batteries can run out - cue the chilling music)

Sorry, torch is what we call a flash light where I’m from - just wanted to clarify.

Looks nice so far. Just a little suggestion: add flickering lights and probably blood/dirt/… decals onto the walls

+1 for a flashlight

Hi there

Thanks for reply

Flashlight is allready there, also flickering lights, but thats a problem to show them on a pic

Could we get a video? Want to see how it looks like

What about some dripping water coming from leaky pipes? Or even a red gas line that is running in the sewer, maybe with some leaks in it. I feel there should be some element that pops (but in a dark way) so offset the overall brown’ness

Great additional effect to a map like this is the sound of something swimming through water like a fish in the sea type sound. But you never seem to see anything. Adds a great Horror effect in a dark sewer map like this.

@ - absolutely, and some clanging on pipes with nice chamber reverb can be very creepy, especially when you play using 5.1 stereo.

Thanks for suggestions

Right now i getting into the particle system to create some effects, like JustinSA say, dripping water and so on.

I will make a video soon

looks really nice, needs a little light but the atmosphere is perfect

Yeah I think one thing that stands out to me is that with that many lights the brightness you have on them the falloff is too short - you either need to dim them a lot more so the light on the walls are not so bright. I would at least double the radius and reduce the brightness to maybe 0.2 At the moment because they are so bright it feels fake / off because the centre of your area is almost pitch black. Hope that helps

It looks amazing for a first go in the engine… I wish my first try looked like that

To spice it up a little, place some debris, rubble, old soda cans etc. on the ground, adds some atmosphere and “been used” feel to it.

This is looking good, a tad too dark in my opinion but it’s a sewer right? Good job!

Hi there

thanks for replys

Here a liitle video.
I still had the sound issue so the video show off without any sound effects, sorry for that.
