Hi everyone, over the festive period I’ve been able to get some hours in on my pet project. I’ve recently created a video showing casing the procedural terrain generation I’ve made for the game.
The premise of the game is that you will start in the middle of a maze that is lush and full of life but as you venture into the maze, things become more dangerous and less lush. The aim is to survive long enough to find your way out.
The current terrain generation is for the center where the player will start. All the terrain generation is done using only blueprints and combines multiple sin/cos waves to get the height variants.
