[WIP] RealiScan Photogrammetry Boulders

Hi everybody!

Just wanted to announce our photogrammetry model pack for UE4. It’s almost ready (just running some tests and clean-ups today). The pack contains 8 cinematic-quality boulders with proper normal and pbr maps and proprietary-delit diffuse textures. Also displacement maps for the few who use tessellation.

A short video is available here:

Thank you for viewing!

You did a very good job, your boulders rock man!, gg :wink:
What gonna be the price? Texture size? Polys count?

Thank you! Glad you liked them! Btw, I’ve seen your scifi pack; some really really inspiring stuff in both scale and quality!

Texture size for the boulders is 4096 x 4096 for all textures. There is also a detail texture (512x), so they look pretty good up close (extremely up close that is).
Polycount is 3600 and there are 3 sub-lods (~2500, ~1200, ~400). There is a tessellation material for all of them, however, and with it the models look “high-poly” so to speak. The video only uses the regular material.

As for the price… No idea yet :slight_smile:

Looks good, I would buy it :slight_smile:

Thanks! :wink:

Thanks for all the infos and for the price, let’s say…hum…10 bucks! :cool:

@Nobody : Danke!

@macoll : A little more than that I am afraid. :slight_smile: We’ve submitted the initial form with a suggested price of $40. Unfortunately there is also vat, which would make that around $48… I’m not sure how that will go.

I’m really hoping people would consider the purchase, because if there is interest in the pack, I would get to work on more stuff like that :smiley: Obviously a few rocks don’t make a game, but if we get to do more photoreal assets an others do too, maybe someday the marketplace will be full of really nice models, enough to make nice games. Like the Vanishing of Ethan Carter, that game has been of great inspiration to me personally. Would love to work on something like that some day.

I knew you had an idea, haha! :wink: :wink: :wink:

Well, you are right :wink: But it was sort of approximate… In any case I had to rush it a bit as the initial marketplace submission required a price of some sort. Hopefully, Epic will like them and the rocks will go live :slight_smile:

Great work :slight_smile: love to see good photogrammetry results!

@SchnitzelDude Thank you!

The boulder package is scheduled to appear on the marketplace March 9th. Thanks to every one for the kind replies!
