WinPumpMessages

Hello,

For the past couple years, I seem to be getting significant lag spikes when using unreal, even if the project is completely empty. Insights says it is “WinPumpMessages” that is eating up all the rendertime. I’ve noticed that if I’m playing the level, using my mouse to look around during these lag spikes seems to make the lag significantly worse compared to if I’m just walking with the arrow keys.

I’ve read on another thread on here that this is because of some high DPS mouse issue, but I’m not really sure how to resolve this issue (nor am I technically literate enough to actually understand all the programming language. Does anyone have a solution for this?
