I keep selecting Windows for my releases tests, and yet unreal keeps using WindowsNoEditor directory
how can I fix this ?

No editor means that it’s the published build. As in its not using the editor…
As far as the direct naming of the folder, it’s probably an actual bug. But does it matter?
You should be able to rename it.
yeah I actually dont know if it matters
so to release a game, I just package it to a WindowsNoEditor ?
I think Windows is running uncooked content or something
Usually yes.
You rename the folder, zip it, and distribute.
There’s some info on that on the GameJam guide if you need extra help.
Official (steam and such) releases may need much more attention…
