So, I can see the different types in their graphical representation. But I find it quite annoying that I can’t dock windows of different types and that I can’t tab windows together that are not of the right type.
To me, a consistent behaviour (all dockable; all tabbable) would make the overall editor experience more consistent and would also allow more flexibility in workflow.
+1 to this.
The current editor experience is not as robust and FLOW-based as UDK\UE3.
Hey Martin,
Any particular windows you are having trouble with?
Best Regards,
Ryan
What made me react this way was that I could dock Output Log, but not the Message Log. There’s no obvious reason - to me - of what determines which type (dockable/tabbable) a window gets. I expected to be able to dock any window from the Window tab.
Same with the Class Viewer and Blueprint Debugger.
I let the team know about this. Thank you
Best Regards,
Ryan
