Just had the case, that in Windows 11, using UE5 the Antimalware Service Executable was consuming most of the CPU while a build all levels was running.
Had to exclude in Security Windows settings the processes:
- conhost.exe
- SwarmAgent.exe
- UnrealEditor.exe
- UnrealLightmass.exe
to run a build in 5 minutes, that I cancelled after half an hour, while mouse, other programs, keyboard, everything was very very slow. Even needed a restart.
Hopes this may help, if someone is running into similar problems.
