Windows 10 - Packaged game for Windows won't launch on win7/8

Hey!!

Having issues with packaged game: I’m using Windows 10 and packaged game for Windows 32-bit. Game works brilliantly on Windows 10 but it gives errors when trying to launch on win7/8. Attaching errors and crash reports.

Is this a game that you’ve created and packaged yourself? Or is this error coming from a published and released game?

Do you cook your project before you packaged it to share?

I always cook content for Windows :slight_smile:

Would you mind sending me your project, not the packaged version - but your actual project in a private message on the forums? Once you’ve done that, I’d like to know the exact steps you took to package your project because I want to reproduce this if possible. You’re more than welcome to include the packaged project too for comparison.

So without changing any of the settings, I built and cooked the project and proceeded to package it for Windows 64. I then tested the packaged project on Windows 7, Windows 10 Professional and Windows 8.1. I did not receive any errors in testing on either of the computers.

I would suggest looking through tips provided in this [forum post][1].
