William Faucher - Easy Toolbag

Documentation: https://bit.ly/EasyToolbagDocumentation

EasyToolbag is a built-in menu for Unreal Engine 5 that simplifies a lot of the repetitive tasks when creating our worlds.

Packed with features like one-click solutions for:

  • Creating a Post Process Volume with the correct defaults

  • Create Level Sequence + Camera

  • Sky System

  • Lighting Reference Spheres

Viewport Helpers:

  • Cap FPS: Limits the framerate to the desired amount. Helpful for reducing GPU temps/energy consumption.

  • Quick & Easy Screen Percentage Adjustment

  • Viewport Exposure Compensation

  • Viewport UI Type: As of Unreal Engine 5.6, major changes were made to the viewport UI. This toggle allows you to switch back to the old version if preferred, or both.

  • AA Type: Toggles the AA method used in the viewport.

EasySuite

If you've purchased the following tools below here on FAB, EasyToolbag will spawn the following directly in front of your camera view, instead of having to find the appropriate blueprint in the content browser. Won’t have any effect if the EasySuite tool in question is not installed in your project.

  • EasyFog

  • EasySnow

  • EasyRain

  • EasyAtmos

screen percentage controls, framerate caps to lessen the load on your GPU. Easily switching between AA types. It includes a button to create a handy lighting reference tool that helps you with your scenes lighting, creating sequences and cameras with the click of a button, all the things we need to do on a regular basis but involves multiple clicks.

And for those of you who own EasyFog, EasyRain, EasyAtmos, and EasySnow, you now get a handy button for easily adding them to your scene at the right place. No more diggin around your content browser to find them.

EasyToolbag aims to make your life a lot easier, with fewer clicks, saving you valuable time, every single time.

As of Unreal Engine 5.6, there was an overhaul to the viewport UI, EasyToolbag gives you the option to revert to the old one too.

I’m a simple man, when I see William upload new tool, I purchase.
Thanks for the great tools!

Thanks so much! Appreciate it!

Hi William, Thanks so much for the great product and your ongoing support and wisdom.

When can we expect an update for 5.7? I know it’s only just launched, but I thought I’d get this out there.

Kind regards

Al

It’s already there! For future reference, you never need to wait for a new unreal version update when it comes to assets. When you add them from fab, it might tell you hey, latest version is 5.6, but that doesnt stop you from adding a 5.6 version of a tool/asset to your project anyway. Everything is always forward compatible
