With a new console generation probably comming out within the next 2 years EpicGames will probably make a new version of Unreal Engine just like they have before like ue1/ue2 ran on the ps2/xbox/(I think it ran on the gamecube I don’t know) then when the xbox 360/ps3 came out they made ue3 and when ps4/xbox one (and recently the nintendo switch) came out they made ue4 so it makes sense that they would make a new version when the ps5/xbox 2(or whatever they call it) comes out
