(Speaking about non-games industries).
As the new price model won’t affect previous Unreal versions, like 5.3 nor older ones, I was wondering if t won’t affect too any other version prior the official release of UE5.4, as, for example, the current branches in the Unreal’s Github (like ‘5.4 alpha’ or even ‘5.5 alpha’).
In other words, may the policy have retroactive effects, if Epic wants? (To cover all 5.4 versions, even those previous to the release/acceptance of the agreement). I mean, what happends If I start using the 5.4 Github version under the old (but still current) agreement?
PS: the new 1$ million threshold would be much more nice if considered as net profit (please Epic, or maybe @Amanda.Schade !), not as gross revenue.
