I’ve built my game specifically to be played with a gamepad and not being able to navigate menus with anything but the mouse is problematic, to say the least. A user needs to be able to move a cursor around and click on UMG menu buttons, just as the mouse can, but using only gamepad inputs.
A while ago, I had heard that this was “in the works” and would be a functionality released in 4.8, but it doesn’t appear that happened. Can anyone at Epic confirm this is being worked on and if/when it may be available in a future release? The roadmap doesn’t list anything like this and it seems like something that really should be built into the engine.
