Widget Component Fails to Properly Highlight Text

I’m using a widget component to act as a sort of desktop within the game. There’s a multi-line text box that can highlight text, but doing so produces odd results (see gif below). Strangely enough, this only happens in when I launch as Standalone. It works completely fine playing in Selected Viewport. If I put a multi-line text box in the overall UI, it works fine there too. It’s just the widget component that’s behaving improperly. Can anyone lend some assistance?
