Widget Blueprint display inconsistent with scene view

Very new to UI widget blueprint here. I created a very simple widget blueprint with a border wrapping a text box, and this is what it looks like in the designer view of the widget blueprint.

However when I drop it into the scene, it looks different and the text is being clipped off.

I wonder if I’m missing something obvious. Thanks in advance.

For those of you who run into the same problem, you need to check “draw at desired size” in the details panel of the widget.
