Widget Animation jerks while playing in game

Hi everyone, The problem I’m running into is, that I animated what essential is a “slideshow” as an information part of an application.
I animated the whole thing within a Widget Blueprint.
But for some reason when it plays within the app it looks like the frame rate is very low but the FPS counter doesn’t indicate such a problem.
Would be great if someone got an idea of where this might come from :D.

Any chance that you managed to solve this? Encountering the same issue in 5.3.2

A similar thing is happening in 5.5. UMG animation is smooth in UMG editor (and in Play in Editor), but choppy (looks like low fps) in Standalone mode and packaged game. Related topic:
