Hello

 

I’m trying to scan a wicked chair but there are several problems:

  1. There are no holes in wicked part, you can clearly see, sides have white background fill.

  2. Outer sides are just blurry mess

 

I tried 3 times to photo and recreating it, each time i have more than 50 photos, this happens every time.

Any advice?

Hello,

This chair looks like an object that is really hard to reconstruct. It has small holes, it’s dark and it’s shiny. All those things are not cooperating with photogrammetry really well. 

My guess is that there are always going to be some issues with the model of that chair, but in your case, I would take as many photos as possible since 50 images is not enough.
