Why would this in-game poster be flagged for LEGO IP violation?

Why would this in-game poster be flagged for LEGO IP violation?

I am hoping someone can help me understand a moderation rejection for my LEGO Island, Glass House Maze Escape.

The island was originally published in May 2024 and had not been updated since June 2024. I recently opened it again mainly to update the old code to Verse 1.0, and clean it up and simplify the island.

To my amazement, the new release was rejected under 1.7 Respect IP Ownership, specifically identifying:

/Content/Assets/IGGlassHouse_1920x1080b.uasset

Moderation says:

“This content uses LEGO’s intellectual property in a way that is not allowed.”

The asset is simply a decorative poster on a wall inside the island. It displays the game’s name and artwork depicting the actual LEGO island and LEGO Fishstick character. It is the same poster as the game thumbnail!

I have attached the old and new versions.

Previous poster:
This has been in the published island for more than two years without being flagged.

New poster:
This is an updated version depicting essentially the same LEGO Fishstick character and the same glass maze environment from the game.

What makes this especially confusing is that this is already a LEGO Island built using the LEGO templates and approved LEGO assets. The LEGO Brand Rules explicitly allow Minifigures and LEGO assets in promotional imagery.

Moderation is also not flagging the actual Discover thumbnail. It is specifically flagging this copy of the artwork used as an in-game wall poster.

So what exactly is the violation here?

Is there a separate LEGO rule regarding posters or 2D images of LEGO assets placed inside a LEGO Island? If so, I cannot find it.

I am happy to change something if it actually violates a rule, but the rejection does not explain what part of this image is prohibited. Considering essentially the same poster has been published inside this LEGO Island and as a thumbnail since 2024, this rejection makes very little sense to me.

Has anyone else run into this, or can anyone explain what Epic might actually be objecting to?

Also, to more clearly show the supposed IP violation.

Here is a screenshot of the game (which has been online since May 2024, and is still online now):

What am I missing here??
