ive tried every version released… it will NOT run for more than 30 seconds
First, 32 GB isn’t that much RAM for Unreal Editor, depending on what size project you’re trying to load.
Especially on a graphics card with > 20 GB RAM! The rule of thumb is that you’ll want 4x as much computer RAM as graphics card RAM.
I highly recommend going to 64 GB for stability. (One of the reasons for this is that the drivers will want to reserve as much regular RAM as the graphics card has RAM, for backup, and if your card has 24 GB VRAM and your main system has 32 GB RAM, that leaves 8 GB for everything else …)
Second, apparently there’s some problem with compatibility of Intel 13900K CPUs and games in general…
Hopefully there will be a fix for that at some point.
i get the ram thing… it had no isues running anything else…64 gigs on 13th gen boards has an issue when all the dims are populated i dont know if that ones ben resolved yet… thanks for the info… i want to create ■■■■ it…lol
